It’s undeniable small business is the backbone of this great nation. And it ought to remain that way. After all, there are 31.7 million small businesses currently operating and employing nearly half of the U.S. workforce.

In wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, however, small businesses became an imperiled, threatened species after the government ordered their closure. Extended lockdown orders exacerbated problems for business owners and their employees, who, despite employing careful measures to open and operate safely, couldn’t return to work.

Soon after, our government began picking winners and losers, deeming who is and isn’t “essential” — leaving countless Americans in the dust and communities barren and deserted. A travesty, if you will.

Enter the new book by “recovering” investment banker and New York Times bestselling author Carol Roth: The War on Small Business: How the Government Used the Pandemic to Crush the Backbone of America.

Roth’s book is a sober examination into the root causes of the War on Small Business. This war was formally declared in March of 2020—but the animus towards small business didn’t start there, she writes. Free enterprise is in danger of going extinct. Now, this threat became abundantly clear in the last year.

If you’re a new to telecommuting, welcome!

I know many people were recently put in this position due to the novel coronavirus. The threat of the COVID-19 is very serious, but don’t panic. Take all necessary precautions and refer to the CDC website.

If the prospect of working from home scares you, don’t fret. It’s more common today than ever. Need someone to help demystify this? I’m your girl and am here to help out!

There is a lot of alarmism across digital media associated with working from home. That needs to stop. Here are three ways to make your remote working experience from home an enjoyable—and productive— one.

#1— Carve Out Work Space to Root Out Distractions

Working from home can be a productive experience, even with all the supposed distractions around you.

In my experience, I’ve actually found myself achieving a consistent and constant state of flow while hitting more client benchmarks than I ever did at my 9-to-5 job.

When I started working from home in summer 2016, I used the office in my home—and an old kitchen table—as my workspace. It’s an open area but separate space from my living room and kitchen. It allows me to work on my computer, organize equipment/gear, sort through documents, and have resources I need to complete tasks. My chair could be better, but the workspace is reliable and my “sanctuary” for professional matters. And it serves as a perfect backdrop to play Spotify playlists or catch up on podcasts while working.

If you have a space to recreate your work space at home, do it and go with what’s comfortable for you. Once you do that, you can work on maintaining contact with your company or clients with great ease.

#2— Maintain Your Regular Communication Channels

When working out of your home or residence, it’s feasible to maintain established communication channels with your company, clients, or business partners.

Since social distancing is being encouraged to mitigate the spread of coronavirus, maintaining contact with people is just a quick call or video chat away. Sometimes we forget this and underestimate how lucky we are in this digital age. Ha!

If you’re an employee and have company equipment in the form of a laptop or program you can install on your computer, you can track work hours and be accountable to your superiors or clients. Email, chat portals, and yes, even social media platforms, keep communications alive today. They are a good source to stay up-to-date and informed about work situations and day-to-day operations.

I’ve used different methods of communication to be responsive to my clients. It saves everyone the trouble of having to travel to meet, helps offset dining expenses, and facilitates team bonding too.

Communication from home can be clear and well-maintained. Your bosses can make sure you’re well and know you’re being productive. Have fun with it too!

#3—Remember to Take Breaks

Another recommendation I have is to take some breaks, whether in the form of eating meals away from your workspace, working out/ indoors, or setting time for breaks.

One thing that can happen if you don’t maintain a work-life balance working remotely is you can go stir crazy and get burnout. Working endlessly with no breaks isn’t healthy and leads to disorganization and chaos. I’ve understood the importance of separating my work and SmartPhone from meals and exercise time. It’s healthier to eat away from your work station or step aside from it to take a break. 30 minutes to an hour break installments are sufficient to pause, to enjoy a meal or sip on coffee, to step outside or to get that recharge you need.

Don’t exhaust yourself while telecommuting. Your employers and clients will be more charitable and flexible given the circumstances today. Don’t stress!

Parting Thoughts: Remote Work is the New Normal

Believe it or not, there are many inherent benefits to remote work. It’s no wonder why more people are doing it today, in spite of the coronavirus.

There’s no commuting involved—hello lower carbon footprint! No hassle in having to keep up with appearances. You can set your work hours (if you’re not bound by a company rules, per se). You can work out and eat healthier—and save money doing so for both options. Simply put, I believe the benefits far outweigh the negatives.

More companies are allowing their contractors or employees to choose this option—increasingly seen as a boon for the private sector. That’s why there’s a burgeoning freelancer/gig worker economy right now.

In the event you’ll work from home these next few weeks, I hope these three suggestions can help you adjust and adapt. Remote work can be enjoyable, productive, and easy to ease into. Take my word for it!

Good luck!

In the latest installment of my newsletter Angling Right, I discussed my opposition to H.R. 2474, or the PRO Act of 2019.

I retired from political activism in 2016 to launch my freelance media consulting business and never looked back.

Since I’ve joined the gig economy, I’ve never been happier and more productive as a young professional. I love the freedom that comes with the territory. I love setting my own work hours on MY own terms. I especially love working with amazing people from across the country to help their branding or communication visions come alive.

This year, I’m projected to see a 50% growth in my business. But that could be taken away from me if one bill passes the House of Representatives this week.

The Protecting the Right to Organize Act of 2019 contains a provision, Section 2, that will redefine what an employee is and lump in independent contractors—freelancers like you and me—into such a classification. They are doing this to prevent “worker misclassification” at the expense of the gig economy and right-to-work laws.

This bill will do all but help gig workers or freelancers. It will put 57 million of us out of work. This is already playing out badly in California with AB 5. Let’s not have a national version, please.

What the bill’s sponsors fail to understand is gig workers and freelancers aren’t hurt or exploited in their entrepreneurial pursuits; in fact, the opposite is true.

Freelancers contribute $1 trillion to the economy, or the equivalent of 5% of the U.S. GDP. These 57 million Americans are making freelancing a viable longterm career choice, boast advanced skillsets, believe workplace freedom awards them more flexibility, and are mostly Millennials and younger Americans.

If this bill ever became law, it would be an unmitigated disaster. Urge your House members to vote NO on it.

Read more about it at The Resurgent.

On Thursday, I had the opportunity to attend my first White House Policy Briefing.

Every politico’s dream- whether Democrat or Republican, conservative or progressive- is to visit the White House in some capacity. Honestly, I never envisioned myself visiting it ever. Though I’ve worked in politics as an activist, blogger, and now consultant, I’ve never felt the need to stick my neck out to go—unless good opportunities come my way.

Last week, such an opportunity presented itself and I couldn’t refuse.

And while I’m not the most overt public Trump supporter, I’m generally supportive of his administration’s policies and wanted to learn more about policies affecting women. I think even those who are Never Trump, if afforded a chance to attend the White House, should. They appear open-minded and willing to hear all sides, contrary to media reports.

I have associates in young conservative and libertarian circles here in D.C. who are less supportive of the administration’s efforts who’ve gone to events and praised them for making opportunities accessible to all.

The policy briefing was held in conjunction with Women for America First and my old workplace, Leadership Institute, which jointly held their Women’s Bootcamp event in Washington, D.C., this week. The bootcamp began with a training session at the Willard Hotel in downtown Washington, followed by the White House Policy Briefing.

My former colleague Dena gave an excellent presentation called “K.I.S.S. T.H.E.M” on public relations and I took away some new information from it. It appeared the 150 or so other women—plus men—in attendance enjoyed the presentation too.

The lecture was followed by panel discussion featuring three women—including Women for America First president Amy Kremer, who was a big fixture in the TEA Party Movement way back in the day.

After we took a break for lunch, it was off to the White House we go. After going through security, we entered the Eisenhower Office Building into the briefing room to hear from three female staffers who play pivotal roles in formulating and influencing women’s policies under the Trump Administration.

I was able to ask one of Ivanka Trump’s advisors a question about any policies the administration is pursuing and promoting to encourage more self-employed/sole proprietorship among Millennials. I got a more generic answer than I was hoping for on the subject of innovation, but appreciated her taking my question.

The theme of this #WhiteHousePolicy Briefing centered around women’s issues and policies being pursued by @realdonaldtrump , @vp, and their administration. I was able to ask one of the speakers, an advisor to @ivankatrump, what policies they’re pursuing to encourage more people—especially Millennial women—to become self-employed in this gig economy and how deregulation can streamline and spur more opportunities. That was cool too! I will say this: regardless of what you think about the Trump Administration, it’s hard to deny they are very accessible and approachable. I appreciated the opportunity to visit today. Thank you especially to @giovannapence for your help, and to @amykremer and @kyliejanekremer for organizing such a lovely ladies bootcamp event. • • • #maga #kag #whitehouse #womensissues #womenvote #publicpolicy #womenempowerment #womensupportingwomen #womeninbusiness #trump #moverandshaker #trump2020 #keepamericagreat #bipartisan #politics #dcliving #womenforamericafirst #discussion #dialogue #commonground #conservative #makeamericagreatagain #letsgettowork #economicdevelopment #economicfreedom #innovation #womenbusinessowners #paidleave #womenleaders #womeninbusiness

A post shared by Gabriella Hoffman (@gabriella_hoffman) on Dec 12, 2019 at 3:49pm PST

Today marks the annual #GivingTuesday celebration. It follows Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday. It’s aimed at encouraging private charity and support for worthy causes.

There are many causes deserving of your donor dollars. It was hard to winnow the field down but here are my 2019 picks:

#1 — American Freedom Fund

American Freedom Fund should definitely be on your radar. They host a variety of programs for veterans. Here’s more on the organization:

AFF empowers Active Duty, Reserve and Separated Service Members through a mission of athletics, education, and advocacy. The goal of AFF is simple: provide a place for active duty and Veteran service members to come together in a spirit of camaraderie to participate in recreational AND competitive sports; to afford the means and opportunity for student Veterans who seek a career in defense or public policy to achieve the next step in their goals; and to raise awareness and financial support for Veteran focused organizations that are providing crucial resources for Veterans in the community.

Support them here.

#2— Leadership Institute

Yes, I used to work for Leadership Institute—so I may be a tad biased in including them here. However, they just celebrated their 40th anniversary and are on the cutting edge of training and cultivating the next generation of conservative and libertarian grassroots activists.

Trump thanking him for his contributions to the conservative movement.Who has taken a training, worked/interned there, donated to the organization, or hired LI-trained people? I took my first LI training — and first political training!—during my freshman year of college at UC-San Diego nine years ago. I then worked at LI from August 2012 until July 2016 as a Regional Field Coordinator and social media lecturer. Well over 217,000+ people from around the U.S. and the globe have benefitted from Morton and LI’s trainings. Congratulations on this amazing feat, Morton! Thanks for all you have done to train young people in America’s guiding principles. Happy Birthday! You can learn about LI at www.leadershipinstitute.org
Posted by Gabriella Hoffman on Sunday, November 17, 2019

Donate to the organization here.

#3— National Park Foundation

There is a nearly $13B backlog in the National Park Service. There are bills sitting in Congress waiting to be heard—the Restore Our Parks Act has over 300 co-sponsors in the House!—to help address this issue, but supporting NPS’ official charity, the National Park Foundation, can send a message too.

Consider supporting them here.

#4— National Shooting Sports Foundation

NSSF is the trade association for the firearms industry. They do tremendous work representing the industry, debunking mistruths about firearms ownership, and have initiatives like Project ChildSafe aimed at promoting true gun safety.

That reminds me: I need to renew my Media Membership…

#5— Raise Em Outdoors

Raise Em Outdoor is a nonprofit organization aimed at “helping kids from any background get outdoors, learn about hunting, fishing, bringing food to the table, and the outdoors as a lifestyle.”

It’s run by Erin Crooks out of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and is worthy of your consideration. [Bonus: I sit on the Board of Directors and volunteer my time as a fishing instructor when there are Virginia camps.]

Consider donating to them here.

#6— The DC Project

I’ve had the opportunity to get to know the ladies of The DC Project and I can vouch for their work in empowering women gun owners to get involved in the electoral process.

Here’s more about them:

The D.C. Project is 50 women, one from every state, meeting their legislators in Washington, D.C. as firearm owners and 2nd Amendment supporters. The 2nd Amendment should not be a partisan issue and our goal is to take every member of congress to the range and educate them on firearms safety, all the while giving them the opportunity to get to know us as good, upstanding, responsible citizens. Education is the key!

I had the pleasure of sitting down with Brad Luttrell of GoWild for his podcast, Restless Native, back in June. We talked about a multitude of things, and I think you’ll enjoy our conversation.

Here’s more on our interview:

Gabriella Hoffman has worked her way up to being an active writer in the hunting, fishing, outdoor and firearm spaces, but she’s relatively new to hunting. She’s also a very active political reporter, and I would certainly put the influencer label on her, even though it may not surface how some of you interpret it.

In many ways, influencers to me are the new newspaper columnists. People are excited to see new content from them. They have a clear but evolving point of view. And they reach the masses. The idea of an influencer often gets tied to social media, but it can run so much deeper than that.

Gabriella, or Gabby as her friends call her, is a great example of that. She is an influencer on many levels, ranging from her articles to her own podcasts, from her social channels to her own network. She’s an interesting person, and she and I got to sit down and chat about her background and hear what she thinks of today’s media landscape.

They say the age of two is terrible—especially if you’re raising children. In the case of being self-employed, it’s just as challenging but not as impactful as rearing children. I’ve yet to find that out, but I trust my friends and family members who’ve already gone through that.

When I set out to go on my own in 2016, I not only wanted to do it badly — I was forced into it. Despite the Washington, D.C., metro area have lots of opportunities—especially in politics—I couldn’t get to my next step in my professional career, despite having the clout, experience, and connections to do so. Frankly, 2016 burned me out and I needed to disappear from politics for a while (or go more behind the scenes.) Sadly, this town likes to generally reward those who “fail upward.” Oxymoronic, I know. It didn’t want to fail upward; that’s not how I roll.

My next step was clear to me. I would take the plunge and go solo. Crazy, right??

When I got my ‘a-ha’ moment

After getting a rude awakening in summer 2016, I knew it was time to chart my own course. My dad and my uncle had started their own respective businesses – why couldn’t I? I come from a family of entrepreneurs and I’ve always had that entrepreneurial spirit. I’m told I’m a people person and can make genuine contacts and business relations. I was told I was more innovative than other media people out there, so I knew I had to jump into the competition and show ’em what I’m made of.

I knew it wasn’t going to be easy.

Reality sunk in: Success wouldn’t come to me overnight.

Despite what you may see on social media from me, I’m not famous or wealthy despite being on my own or some appearances I have. I don’t come from wealth—my parents were considered upper-middle income when we lived in California. They provided a very good life for me and my sister. I’ve had to save and work hard during these initial years of self-employment. I’m not yet where I need to be but I’m gradually getting there. Slowly but surely, I’m getting the work and opportunities I need.

First, I had to figure out how to leverage my connections and channel those into business leads. I couldn’t simple ask my friends and colleagues for jobs. I HATE asking people for things of that nature. I’m not one to beg for things, especially in a professional setting. But I grew more comfortable leaning on my contacts, mentors, past associates, and others to guide me and possibly send work my way. I’ve done a lot for people in the past and paid it forward. What harm would it be to ask for help? When you’re struggling in any arena in life, always lean on those who propped you up and have offered support — even in business.

Second, I had to establish some formal structure for business dealings. I had to reacquaint myself with contracts and draft them on terms that are amenable to me and to the client. I had to learn how to legally protect myself and be prepared for delinquent clients who wouldn’t pay on time or pay at all. I had to take meager short-term work or free work in the beginning prior to going public with my freelancing on November 14th, 2016.

Third, I had to polish existing skills and learn new ones. I couldn’t just rely on social media strategy, basic public relations, grassroots organizing, and writing. I had to become more versatile. I had to learn several programs on Adobe Premiere Pro (Lightroom, Premiere Pro, and a little bit of Photoshop). I invested in a DSLR camera to tap into a hidden photography talent I apparently boasted. I participated in webinars to learn tools that would be essential to learning and enhancing my knowledge. I’m still learning to this day. I’m a stronger young professional than I was two years ago.

Here are some key takeaways going into my third year of business:

1) Quality clients over quantity clients

In the 24-months I’ve been self-employed, I’ve learned it’s better to aspire for quality over quantity with respect to clients.

Whether it’s a short-term or long-term contract, I prefer having fewer and more higher paying and invested proactive clients, than settle for many who don’t pay or aren’t actively invested into their business.

I’ve had to reject prospective client requests because they weren’t willing to pay much or pay at all. I’ve also gotten my share of disappointments from prospective clients who seemed promising, than told me my price is too much or their company had to forgo the project. It was frustrating. Was I doing something wrong? Why were contracts getting rejected?

Rejection sucks. Upon getting bad news, you feel like all your hard work amounts to nothing. But then you press on and search for the next client. Disappointment is expected, more often than not, but when you land good and cooperative clients, the feeling is wonderful.

2) Always network, forge better connections, and join professional groups.

Though I find myself in a more comfortable position as a freelance media strategist and have more business than when I started, I still network to this day. I’m selective with who I meet with, especially if they are established and serious and can add to my professional journey. I don’t take the bait for those who are unserious or toying with media work anymore. (Fellas: please stop the Twitter inquiries for social media verification or free advice under the guise of dates. I see through it.) Ain’t nobody got time for that—especially this girl.

I’ve become more involved in sportsmen’s groups locally and even joined a couple outdoor writer associations. I’ve found kinship with my local chapters of Ducks Unlimited, Friends of the NRA, and should be getting involved in our local Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation soon. I belonged to Southeastern Outdoor Press Association (SEOPA) for a term but have found a better match in the Professional Outdoor Media Association (POMA), which jives better with my aspirations and hopes.

I also attend still political conferences and events to re-connect with people and build upon my existing list. I still drop by CPAC in Maryland for a day to catch up with old political friends and those who may want my consulting services. Despite having my feet dipped in both politics and the outdoors, I incline myself to more outdoor trade shows locally and across the country. I’ve found SHOT Show, ICAST, the Great American Outdoor Show, and other consumer interest shows to be worthwhile for making connections and getting business leads.

I’ll cross-pollinate and maintain crossover because it doesn’t hurt to have your feet firmly planted across different industries.

3) Balance your work with hobbies and time limits

A 9-to-5 schedule keeps you organized. You can time your work load easier. I sometimes miss that with freelancing. I sometimes work longer than I should, though I work harder than I normally did. Striking that balance can be challenging.

Just like when I worked a 9-to-5 job, I balance work with fun activities. Obviously, I like to retreat to the Great Outdoors. Fishing is my favorites activity of choice, followed by shooting sports and now I’m finding an escape in hunting. But I also relax with day trips, DC-area sightseeing, visiting new restaurants, reading, hiking, and walking. I try to take walks several times a week, regardless of weather conditions.

Living in a metro area, I rely on a multitude of activities to stay afloat and be stress-free. Having a balance and a clear head goes a long to be a productive consultant.

If a good full-time job opportunity came my way, I may take it.

One of the downsides of freelancing is the perpetual roller coaster income. You may put out a great contract, but it gets flatly rejected. Or you get no response—which lingers on forever. Then not a peep.

Admittedly, it sometimes sucks to not have steady work. When I do, I’ve generally very busy. When I don’t, I try to fill up my time with activities that do in preparation for the next big client project.

Sometimes I dabble with whether or not to try my hand at full-time, steady work again. If a good, reliable, high-paying, enjoyable full-time job comes my way, I wouldn’t mind taking it—as long as I don’t lose my soul. I can willingly choose to sacrifice some side projects if I want to, not because I have to. I’d have to be convinced the opportunity is the right one, and not one that will set me backwards like the one stint I had that led me to go on my own.

Never say never, they say. But until that time, I’ll continue to grow and polish my skills. I know that not all companies admonish those who’ve done freelancing.

—

As for this past year, I had some great client projects.

I worked for two political campaigns as a branding consultant and media relations representative. I served as a book publicist for the first time and helped my client, a first-time publisher, sell 1,300 electronic and physical copies of his book and helped him land on the Amazon Bestsellers List in his category. (His book even got Ben Shapiro’s seal of approval!) I worked with a cyber start-up and helped the founder, a past associate, successfully lobby (no exchange of money, just discussing cyber issues) and network with Members of Congress. And I did my very first independent campus lecture on why “Hunting is Conservation” with a prominent free market environment think tank. Year Two was good to me, despite some setbacks. I can imagine Year Three will treat me better!

If you’d like to hire me for the upcoming year, fill out my survey and I’ll arrange for a consultation with you shortly. If you’d like a one-on-one consultation or remote consultation, let’s get in touch.

If you have recommendations on best practices or things you’d like me to take on, please let me know!

Are you in need of a push to reach some tangible goals? Is your company, nonprofit, or campaign eager to make waves in traditional and non-traditional media coverage? Book a paid 30-minute or 60-minute consultation with me!

I’ve been receiving a lot of messages about free consultations—especially from strangers and those eager to attain instant media fame. Frankly, it’s ticked me off. My advice is not free, and starting today, I’m affirming this policy. I’ve offered consultations in the past, but was sometimes too generous with my time. Going forward, I’ll be installing a nominal fee for in-person and phone/Skype consultations for both 30 and 60 minute increments if I wasn’t already doing so before.

In these consultations, you’ll get the following if they match your needs:

An assessment of your social media accounts

An assessment of your marketing strategy

A prospective list of client expectations to ensure client-consultant compatibility

A shortlist of potential services you could receive if you hire me

A quote on media services upon completion of the consultation in the form of a contract

To schedule a comprehensive consultation for either a one-30 minute session or one-60 minute session in-person or via phone, please contact me here or by filling out my contact form here on my business website.

I look forward to connecting and learning more about your business needs!

A California Supreme Court ruling has dealt a huge blow to freelancers who participate in the gig economy. It unanimously ruled that contractors must be classified as full-fledged employees with all added benefits—a move would would increase a company’s expenses roughly 25-40%. US News puts it as a move that “would limit businesses from classifying workers as independent contractors who aren’t eligible for certain benefits and employment protections.”

With the Golden State being a petri dish whose results are experimented elsewhere across the country, we should expect similar things in our states.

What does this ruling entail? This court deliberated the question whether workers should be labelled as “employees” or “independent contractors” in relation to California wage orders relating to “minimum wages, maximum hours, and a limited number of very basic working conditions (such as minimally required meal and rest breaks) of California employees.”

Here’s a snapshot into the ruling:

Although in some circumstances classification as an independent contractor may be advantageous to workers as well as to businesses, the risk that workers who should be treated as employees may be improperly misclassified as independent contractors is significant in light of the potentially substantial economic incentives that a business may have in mischaracterizing some workers as independent contractors. Such incentives include the unfair competitive advantage the business may obtain over competitors that properly classify similar workers as employees and that thereby assume the fiscal and other responsibilities and burdens that an employer owes to its employees. In recent years, the relevant regulatory agencies of both the federal and state governments have declared that the misclassification of workers as independent contractors rather than employees is a very serious problem, depriving federal and state governments of billions of dollars in tax revenue and millions of workers of the labor law protections to which they are entitled.

Per Wired, the case only applied to delivery company Dynamex “but it sets a precedent that could affect many types of workers in California, including care givers, dog walkers, hair stylists, and, of course, drivers for Uber and other gig economy companies…” In relation to Dynamex, here’s what the stipulation over the classification was:

Prior to 2004, Dynamex classified as employees drivers who allegedly performed similar pickup and delivery work as the current drivers perform. In 2004, however, Dynamex adopted a new policy and contractual arrangement under which all drivers are considered independent contractors rather than employees. Dynamex maintains that, in light of the current contractual arrangement, the drivers are properly classified as independent contractors.

As the gig economy begins to take hold in this country, freelancers are met with a important questions going forward: should they support partisan politics or rulings which will regulate them out of existence or limit their employment opportunities?

I’ve written about the benefits of the gig economy here at my blog and I still stand by my support of it. There are many net positives to this burgeoning sector of the economy, and big government policies are out to undermine this.

50 % of Millennials are participating in the gig economy. As Deloitte notes, “a study predicts that 42 percent of all self-employed individuals in the United States are likely to be millennials by 2020.” Here are six trends they note in relation to Millennial gig economy participants:

The proportion of women in the millennial alternative workforce is shrinking, possibly because more millennial women than men are going back to school.

The proportion of household income millennials receive from alternative work is increasing.

Most alternative millennial workers make less than their traditional full-time employed counterparts.

Millennial alternative workers are often supported by someone else in their household.

Alternative millennial workers are more likely to find jobs in the arts, maintenance, and administrative professions.

Alternative millennial workers appear to be more likely to break the rules, have emotional agility, and work hard.

Those figures are astounding.

If more rulings like that witnessed in California are to take hold, Millennial freelancers will be the hardest hit. As a fiercely independent, autonomous bunch, Millennial freelancers won’t like this ruling as it’ll make them more bound to those who contract work for them. How can Millennials support certain policies that would run them out of existence or make it harder to administer their business? I urge my fellow Millennial entrepreneurs to study these rulings and advocate for less invasive policies emanating from the legislative or judicial branches
