Bekesha for DC Council 2018

The Bekesha for DC Council 2018 campaign was in need of several services. They engaged me for a whole host of services — campaign photography, social media verification, and consulting sessions. In an effort to help brand the campaign leading up to the primary, they enlisted my help to jumpstart those efforts with the aforementioned. On June 19, 2018, Michael Bekesha won the Republican primary for Ward 6 with 91.43% of the votes casted in the primary.

The strategy: Consult the campaign on strategy, trainings to attend, tactics to use and likeminded groups/entities to reach out to.

Here’s a snapshot of my tasks for the Bekesha for DC Council campaign:

• Getting the campaign verified across social media platforms—namely Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter—to enhance name identification (ID)
• Taking campaign photos—headshots, action shots, and stills—to boost campaign brand
• Participating in consulting services in Ward 6 upon campaign’s request with candidate, Michael Bekesha

As a result of my minor but pivotal participation, Bekesha for DC Council campaign won the Republican primary on Tuesday, June 19th, and garnered positive earned media from local press.
