Last Thursday, I spoke at Michigan Tech University in Houghton, Michigan, on how conservation can greatly align with political conservatism. It was my first time in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
What a great event it was. Perhaps the largest audience for a speech I’ve given yet, with 110 people (students and community members) in attendance. All thanks to the efforts of MTU’s Young Americans for Freedom and Huskies for America chapters – who promoted the heck out of the event. An impressive young groups that’ll go places, especially with help from advisors like Professors Jarek Drelich and Lynn Artman.
