On October 19th, Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation released their fifth annual poll on U.S. Attitudes Toward Socialism, Communism, and Collectivism. Since 2016, the organization has partnered with YouGov to examine and report on voter attitudes on these subjects.
Its purpose, per this year’s findings, is “to explore perceptions of collectivist systems, such as communism and socialism, among Americans ages 16 or older. This has been explored through direct questions concerning different economic systems and knowledge about the history of collectivist systems and their leaders and movements.”
