I recently appeared on the Thin Green Line podcast and had a BLAST. Here’s more about the podcast:
The Thin Green Line refers to all of us who stand in the way of poachers, wildlife criminals and natural resource violators. It is created by natural resource law enforcement, conservationists, biologists, sportsmen and women, outdoor enthusiasts and maybe you.
The Thin Green Line Podcast brings commentary, interviews and opinions regarding wildlife law enforcement, outdoor, environmental subjects mixed with current events and what members want to talk about.
Hosted by retired Game Wardens Wayne Saunders and John Nores Jr., exclusively on Patreon.
I had a blast speaking with #ThinGreenLine Warden’s Watch co-hosts Wayne Saunders and John Nores. I spoke about my dad introducing me to fishing and the Great Outdoors, the value of Professional Outdoor Media Association membership, how to tackle controversial conservation topics like grizzly bear/mountain lion/coyote/wolf management, being a freelance reporter who covers conservation/wildlife issues, how to attract new participants (especially Millennials) to fishing and hunting, and the power of social media in showing how multifaceted hook and bullet activities are behind the kill shot or catch. And why we all enjoy Yellowstone on Paramount Network!
Wayne served as a game warden for NH Fish and Game for over 20 years and appeared as a regular on North Woods Law on Animal Planet. John served in a similar capacity as a game warden in California Department of Fish and Wildlife and is the author of “Hidden War: How Special Operations Game Wardens Are Reclaiming America’s Wildlands From The Drug Cartels.” (He also has appeared on MeatEater and Joe Rogan podcasts!)
