For Josh and Rachelle Hedrick, operators of Smoke Hole Outfitters in Cabins, West Virginia, these last few months have been unusually busy.
While much of the tourism industry has gone under during the coronavirus pandemic, Smoke Hole has been given a lifeline. Like most governors, West Virginia Governor Jim Justice deemed fishing essential and that has led to a flurry of visitors to Smoke Hole Resort, where the Hedricks’ outfitter business operates.
I visited Smoke Hole Outfitters last Wednesday and got to explore the property. While there, I sat down with Rachelle to talk what makes their place so special. For passersby or DC-area residents looking to escape, this place has it all. Trust me, you’ll want to listen!

I’ll be telling their story on Townhall.com Friday and post our video interview the following Monday on my YouTube channel.
