EP7 | District Of Conservation: Lots of Good Conservation News From DC

In Episode 7 of District of Conservation, I recapped by Florida trip and covered a lot of ground with respect to the various good conservation news that emanated from Washington, D.C., this past week.

Below is EP 7:

Here’s the gist:

  • I discussed the recent National Hunting and Fishing Month proclamation
  • I discussed the implementation of the improved Billfish Conservation Act of 2012
  • I discussed both chambers of Congress passing water infrastructure bill that’ll help Florida construct the EAA Reservoir
  • I discussed why Sen. Kennedy (R-LA)’s No Red and Blue Banks Act will keep a check on banks that engage in social corporate policies that penalize law-abiding gun manufacturers and companies.
