Alexandria Ducks Unlimited Ducktoberfest – 10/5/18 [PHOTOS]

On October 5th, 2018, I photographed the inaugural Ducktoberfest event for Alexandria’s chapter of Ducks Unlimited at the Torpedo Factory in Old Town Alexandria, Va.

Ducks Unlimited bills itself as the world’s leader in wetlands and waterfowl conservation. It was started over 80 years ago following the Dust Bowl. It is grassroots-led, volunteer based organization. They are arguably the “most effective private waterfowl and wetlands conservation organization.” DU’s success is rooted in its “partnerships with private individuals, landowners, agencies, scientific communities and other entities.”

Note: I’m a member and serve on the Executive Board of the Alexandria, Virginia, chapter.

Below is a collage of the shots.
